Same weight, same 15D yarn, different finish and width. The 15D lustrous mesh has a built-in natural sheen and comes in an extra-wide 118-inch width — better for cathedral veils and large draping. This multifilament base fabric is a standard 63 inches wide, with a softer hand feel and no added lustre. If you need width and a subtle glow, go with the lustrous version. If you need the softest touch for linings and intimate apparel, go with this multifilament version.

Gently, but it's more cooperative than you'd expect. Nylon has more give than polyester, so it doesn't slip and slide. The multifilament structure actually helps — the fabric has a slight natural grip that keeps it from flying around on the cutting table. Lay it flat when cutting — don't stretch it out. No elastane, but the nylon knit structure gives it a slight natural mechanical give — it flexes a little with the body without losing its shape.
