It's an international certification that verifies the recycled content in a product — and also ensures responsible social and environmental practices throughout the supply chain. When a fabric is GRS-certified, it means the recycled content has been tracked and verified from the source to the finished product. It's not just a label. It's a guarantee that what you're buying is genuinely recycled, responsibly made, and fully traceable. For brands selling into markets where sustainability claims are regulated, GRS certification provides the documentation and credibility they need.
Q 2. Does recycled nylon feel different from regular nylon?
No. The recycled nylon yarn used in this fabric performs and feels exactly the same as virgin nylon. Smooth, soft, strong. The difference is upstream — the raw material comes from repurposed waste rather than new petroleum-based production. You won't feel the difference on your skin. Yes, 50gsm is on the lighter side for a stretch mesh. It's breathable, airy, and moves with the body. Good for layering pieces, ventilation panels, and applications where you want stretch without weight.

Comfortable everyday stretch. 10% spandex gives a responsive flex that moves with the body and recovers its shape. Not the firm compression of performance activewear. It's the kind of stretch you want in a sustainable fashion piece: there when you need it, not restrictive, not baggy.
Q 6. Can I use this for swimwear?
It has stretch and nylon content, but it's not specifically designed for prolonged chlorine or saltwater exposure like our dedicated swimwear fabrics. For occasional water use, it'll hold up. For competitive or frequent pool use, we recommend our swimwear-specific options.
Q 7. Can I get the GRS certificate for my order?
Yes. Since this fabric is GRS-certified, we can provide the transaction certificate (TC) for your order. This allows you to trace the recycled content through the supply chain and make verified sustainability claims to your own customers. Contact us for details.

No. Our fabrics are designed and produced for apparel, activewear, fashion accessories, and related uses. We do not currently manufacture or supply fabrics for medical, filtration, or industrial applications. If you need medical-grade textiles, we recommend consulting a specialist supplier.
