It's 25gsm — let's be real, it's not built for heavy use. But it's not as fragile as it looks. Polyester holds its shape, resists wrinkles, and won't shrink in the wash. Handle it with a light touch when cutting and sewing. Once it's in place as a veil or overlay, it holds up fine. Just don't expect it to survive as a daily-wear piece. This one's for floating, not fighting.

1. 25gsm — how do you even handle something this light?

Gently, but it's not as scary as it sounds. Polyester at this weight has enough give that it doesn't shatter the moment you touch it. Lay it flat when cutting. Don't yank it through the machine. Use tissue paper under the fabric when sewing — it stabilizes the fabric and tears away clean when you're done. Once you get used to the weight, it handles fine.

2. How is this different from your Swiss tulle or American mesh?

Different weave, different hand feel. Our Swiss tulle has a finer, smoother surface with a bit more structure. Our American mesh is airier and more open. This Dior mesh sits in between — soft and floaty like American mesh, but with a slightly denser weave that gives it a touch more body. If you want the softest drape, go Dior. If you need more structure, go Swiss tulle.

3. Is this see-through? Do I need a lining under it?

It's sheer — at 25gsm, that's the point. It's made for layering, not for full coverage on its own. Use it as a veil, an overlay, or a delicate wrap. If you're making a garment with this as the main fabric, you'll definitely want something underneath.

4. Can this be used outdoors? Will the wind destroy it?

It's made for light air movement — that's part of the look. A gentle breeze and it floats beautifully. But if you're setting up outdoors in heavy wind, it's going to be a handful. For outdoor ceremonies with mild weather, it's fine. For a windy setup, go with something heavier like our 28gsm or 30gsm mesh.

5. Is this fabric suitable for medical or healthcare applications?
