This 22gsm has more body. It's still sheer but easier to handle, less likely to fly around when you sew. Want ultra-light and floaty? Go 9gsm. Want sheer with a bit more control? Go 22gsm. Not sure? It's still very much on the thin side. Hold it up to the light and it's nicely sheer — just with a bit more body than the ultra-light versions. For a gown overlay it's great: transparent enough to show the layers beneath, but with enough weight to drape beautifully instead of clinging.

Not at all. It's a solid matte, which a lot of designers actually seek out specifically for embroidery or rhinestone work — the quiet background doesn't compete with the embellishment. It has a soft, almost cloud-like surface that reads elegant rather than flat. If you need sparkle, we also have metallic versions at 12gsm, 15gsm, and 22gsm.

Pretty good. At 22gsm it's heavier than our 9gsm, so naturally one kilo doesn't stretch as far. But 28 yards per kilo is solid for this weight class.
