No. The print is part of the fabric, not a cheap surface coating. It handles regular washing just fine — won't peel, won't crack, won't fade. The colors stay true wash after wash.

2. How much stretch does it have?

The 12% spandex gives it a comfortable everyday stretch — enough to move with the body and recover its shape, but not the intense compression of performance activewear. It's the kind of stretch you want in a yoga top or a lightweight base layer: there when you need it, not restrictive, not baggy.

3. Is this see-through? Do I need a lining?

At 75gsm, it's on the lighter side. For most activewear and apparel, it's fine on its own. If you're making something in white or a very light color and want extra coverage, a lining is a good backup. For darker colors and printed patterns, it covers well without needing anything underneath.

4. What's the difference between this and your solid nylon spandex mesh?

It has stretch and nylon content, but it's not specifically designed for prolonged chlorine or saltwater exposure like our dedicated swimwear fabrics. For occasional water use, it'll hold up. For competitive or frequent pool use, we recommend our swimwear-specific nylon spandex options.
