140420 Nylon Spandex Dry-Touch Mesh 330gsm — 15% Elastane Firm Compression Textile for Pro-Level Gear | 63 Inch

330gsm nylon spandex heavyweight compression mesh. This is the heaviest and most substantial fabric we carry. Dense, structured, with a firm hand feel that provides maximum support. 15% spandex delivers powerful stretch and locked-in compression. Despite the weight, the dry-touch finish keeps it breathable. 160cm wide, 1 yard per kilo — low yield because the weight is exceptionally high. Use it for intense activewear leggings, professional training gear, firm shapewear, and support belts. Heavy, tough, breathable, and built to hold everything in place.

How does it feel?

330gsm nylon spandex heavyweight compression mesh. This is the heaviest fabric in our collection — you pick it up and immediately feel the weight. Dense, structured, with a firm, almost bulletproof hand feel. 15% spandex gives it powerful stretch and recovery. Despite the thickness, the dry-touch finish keeps it breathable — it's called "爽宜" for a reason. 160cm wide, 1 yard per kilo. The yield says everything: one kilo produces only one yard because it's packed with so much material. This isn't a fabric you float in. It's a fabric that holds you. Maximum support, maximum presence.

Is it tough? Does it last?

At 330gsm, this fabric is built like a tank. The nylon base resists abrasion and holds its shape. The 15% spandex provides rock-solid recovery — it won't bag out, sag, or lose its compression after repeated wear and washing. The dry-touch finish is part of the yarn, not a coating, so it won't wash out. For intense activewear, firm shapewear, and support gear that gets worn hard and washed often, it goes the distance. This is the kind of fabric that looks and performs the same after a year of heavy use as it did on day one.

What can I make with it?

High-intensity activewear leggings and training tights. Professional fitness gear. Firm shapewear and body sculpting garments. Support belts and corrective braces. Any garment that needs maximum compression, locked-in support, and long-term durability. If you need lighter compression, we have options at 145gsm, 200gsm, and 250gsm. This is the heaviest in the range — tight enough to sculpt, tough enough to last through the most demanding workouts.

FAQ
1. 330gsm — is this the heaviest fabric you carry?

Yes, this is the absolute heaviest fabric in our collection. At 330gsm, it's significantly heavier than our 200gsm and 250gsm swimwear fabrics. The 1 yard per kilo yield tells you everything — it packs more material into every meter than anything else we stock. If you need the heaviest, most supportive fabric possible, this is it.

2. 1 yard per kilo — is that the lowest yield you have?

Yes, this is the lowest yield in our entire collection. It's not a mistake — it's a direct result of the 330gsm weight. One kilo of this fabric contains so much nylon and spandex that it only produces one yard of length. This makes it our most premium, material-intensive fabric. If you need to cover a large area on a budget, this isn't the right choice. If you need maximum support and compression for high-value garments, the yield is part of the cost equation.

3. Does this feel heavy and breathable at the same time?

Yes. Despite the 330gsm weight, the dry-touch "爽宜" finish and mesh structure keep air moving. It won't feel clammy or suffocating during workouts. The thickness provides support and compression, while the breathability keeps you comfortable during intense activity. Think of it as heavy-duty armor that still breathes.

4. 15% spandex — is that enough stretch for high-intensity movement?

Yes. 15% spandex delivers strong four-way stretch with excellent recovery. Combined with the 330gsm weight, the compression feels locked-in and supportive, not restrictive. It moves with your body during squats, lunges, and high-intensity training. If you need maximum compression for shapewear or support belts, this level of elastane paired with the heavyweight construction is ideal.

5. Is this fully opaque? Do I need a lining?

Yes, fully opaque at 330gsm. No lining needed. The density alone ensures complete coverage, even under full stretch. This is one of the thickest, most coverage-heavy fabrics we carry. Transparency is never a concern, regardless of the color.

6. How does this compare to your 250gsm polyester swimwear fabric?

Weight, fiber, and purpose. The 250gsm polyester swimwear fabric is built specifically for the pool — chlorine-resistant, fast-drying, with a matte finish. This 330gsm nylon compression mesh is heavier, more supportive, and built for intense land-based activity — activewear, shapewear, and support gear. Both are heavyweights. Pick polyester for swimwear. Pick this for maximum compression on land.

7. How do you cut and sew something this heavy and dense?

With the right tools and a bit of patience. At 330gsm, this fabric requires a heavy-duty needle and a machine that can handle thick material. Industrial walking-foot or compound-feed machines work best. Use strong polyester thread. The dense structure means it won't fray easily, so edge finishing is less of a concern than with lighter meshes. If you're set up for heavy-duty activewear or shapewear production, you'll be fine.

8. Is this fabric suitable for medical or healthcare applications?

No. Our fabrics are designed and produced for activewear, shapewear, sportswear, and related uses. We do not currently manufacture or supply fabrics for medical, filtration, or industrial applications. If you need medical-grade textiles, we recommend consulting a specialist supplier.
