1. 250gsm — how does this compare to your 220gsm and 320gsm swimwear fabrics?

Right in the middle. The 220gsm is solid for regular training — lighter, still fully opaque. The 320gsm is the heaviest we carry — built for the most demanding use. This 250gsm splits the difference: more substantial than the 220gsm without being as heavy as the 320gsm. Good for competitive training and plus-size pieces where you want a bit more coverage and compression than the 220gsm gives you.

2. Semi-matte — what does that actually look like?

Not shiny, not dead flat. Somewhere in between. It's got a clean, low-key surface that doesn't reflect light like a mirror but doesn't look dull either. A lot of swimmers prefer this — it looks sharp without being flashy, and it doesn't show every drop of water like glossy fabrics do.

3. How's the stretch? Will it bag out over time?

Strong four-way stretch — pulls over 2x crosswise and snaps right back. The spandex content is dialed in properly, so recovery is solid. Normal wear, normal washing, won't sag. Use it for training suits that get worn several times a week, and the snap is still there months later. Not the kind that quits after one season.

4. Does it hold up to chlorine and saltwater?

Yes. Polyester naturally resists chlorine degradation better than nylon. This fabric has been tested for regular pool use — colors stay true, fabric doesn't turn brittle or thin out. Rinse with fresh water after each use and it'll last even longer. But it's built for the pool, not against it.

5. Is this fabric suitable for medical or healthcare applications?
