2. Is this see-through? Do I need a lining under it?

It's an open mesh structure — it's designed to be see-through and breathable. Use it for pieces where airflow matters: linings, pocket bags, ventilation panels. If you need opacity, this isn't the one. If you need airflow and texture, it fits.
