Not glued. It's a single fabric woven with a double-layer structure — larger openings on one side, a finer mesh layer integrated into the weave. The result is more breathability and more visual texture than standard single-layer mesh. It's still one piece of fabric, not two pieces bonded together.
2. Is this see-through? Do I need a lining under it?
It's an open mesh structure — it's designed to be see-through and breathable. Use it for pieces where airflow matters: linings, pocket bags, ventilation panels. If you need opacity, this isn't the one. If you need airflow and texture, it fits.
3. 165cm wide — is that wider than standard mesh?
Yes. Standard mesh is usually around 150-160cm. The extra 5-15cm gives you more room when cutting larger pieces or running volume production. Saves fabric, saves time.
4. How does this compare to your other polyester meshes?
Most of our polyester meshes are single-layer with a flat, uniform surface — good for veils, overlays, and standard linings. This double mesh has a more textured, open structure — better for applications where airflow and breathability are the priority. If you need sleek and smooth, go with our standard mesh. If you need air moving through, go with this.
5. Can this be used for laundry bags or wash bags?
Yes, that's actually one of its most common uses. The double-layer structure gives it enough strength to hold up through repeated washing without tearing, while the open weave lets water and soap flow through. Much more durable than the cheap single-layer mesh bags that fall apart after a few washes.
6. Is this fabric suitable for medical or healthcare applications?
