Not a spray. Not a coating. The anti-odor function is built into the nylon yarn itself — the antimicrobial properties are part of the fiber, so they won't wash out or fade over time. The fabric actively resists the bacteria that cause odors, keeping the garment fresher for longer between washes. This is particularly useful for swimwear and activewear that gets worn hard and washed frequently. Close to it. We have one fabric with 40% spandex, but this one at 36% is right up there. The stretch is strong and responsive — pulls over 2x crosswise and snaps right back. It's built for compression and recovery. If you need firm, locked-in support that doesn't bag out, this delivers. For everyday casual swimwear, a lower spandex content might feel more relaxed. For performance, this is the level you want.
3. What does "double-face" mean? Can I really use both sides?
Yes. The fabric is engineered so both sides have a clean, finished appearance. Unlike single-face fabrics where the back side looks obviously different, this one is reversible. You can cut and sew with either side facing out. This gives designers more flexibility — use one side for the main body and the other for contrast panels, or let the end user choose which side they prefer.
