80gsm polyester square mesh. 75D yarn. The fabric has a clean, crisp hand feel — not soft, not rough, just straightforward. The square openings are uniform and evenly spaced across the full width. It's lightweight but has structure — pick it up and it holds its shape rather than collapsing. The 75D yarn gives it more body than finer-denier meshes. There's no stretch, no give. It's a rigid, stable netting that stays where you put it. The surface is dry to the touch, typical of polyester.
It holds up well for its weight. 75D polyester is strong enough for most netting applications. The square mesh construction is dimensionally stable — the openings won't shift or distort with use. Polyester gives it good UV resistance compared to nylon, so it won't degrade quickly in sunlight. Won't rot or mildew. Won't shrink. It's not designed for heavy load-bearing, but for containment, separation, and lightweight structural use, it lasts.
Laundry bags and garment bags — the square mesh is smooth enough not to snag delicate fabrics.
Sports nets — practice nets for golf, soccer, baseball, and tennis. Light enough to transport, strong enough for ball impact.
Packaging — net bags for produce, toys, promotional items. The clean square openings show contents clearly.
Craft and DIY — decorative netting for wreaths, floral arrangements, event decor. The fabric holds shape when cut and shaped.
Industrial use — filtering, separation, ventilation, and containment in non-critical applications.
Agricultural netting — plant support, shade cloth, fruit tree protection.
1. Is this fabric stretchy?
No. 100% polyester with no spandex content. It's a rigid, non-stretch netting. If you need stretch, look at our nylon spandex or polyester spandex mesh options.
2. What are the square hole dimensions?
The tetra (square) opening size depends on the 75D yarn and 80gsm construction. The holes are uniform across the fabric. If you need specific opening dimensions for your application, contact us and we'll confirm the exact specification.
3. Can I cut and sew this fabric easily?
Yes. The square mesh structure is stable and won't unravel at the cut edge. It sews well with standard sewing equipment. Use a medium needle and polyester thread for best results. It also heat-cuts cleanly for sealed edges.
4. Is this suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Polyester has good UV resistance and won't degrade quickly in sunlight. It won't rot or mildew. It's suitable for outdoor applications like sports nets, agricultural netting, and shade structures.
