It's not flexible or drapey: it stands up when you hold it. The square openings are uniform and clean across the full width. The surface is smooth to the touch with a slight dryness from the nylon. At 55gsm it's very light but the hard finish gives it more body than the weight suggests. Bend it and it stays bent, crease it and it holds the crease.

For a hard mesh at this weight, it holds up well. Nylon gives it good tear strength. The hard finish is stable — it won't soften or lose its stiffness with normal handling. It won't shrink or distort. Not built for outdoor or heavy use, but for structural applications inside garments, crafts, and packaging, it does its job. It will soften slightly if washed, but the hard finish is designed to hold through normal use.
