You can cut and sew with either side facing out. 2. 190gsm — how does this compare to your 200gsm nylon swimwear fabric?
Very close. The 200gsm version is slightly heavier with a bit more compression. This 190gsm is just a touch lighter, but still fully opaque and built for serious training. If you're choosing between the two, it really comes down to whether you want that extra 10gsm of substance or prefer the double-face feature. Both are solid training-weight options.
3. Nylon vs polyester for swimwear — why pick this one?
Feel and finish. Nylon is softer and smoother against the skin, with a subtle natural sheen. Polyester is drier, crispier, and handles chlorine slightly better over the very long term. If you want a more comfortable, luxurious hand feel with a bit of glow, go nylon. If absolute maximum chlorine resistance is your top priority, go polyester. Both are solid choices — just different priorities.
4. How's the stretch? Will it bag out?
