Solid mid-to-heavy weight. Heavier than our 150gsm and 190gsm options, but lighter than our 250gsm and 320gsm versions. It's the sweet spot for serious training suits — enough weight to be fully opaque and hold compression, but not so heavy that it feels bulky in the water.

2. How's the stretch? Will it bag out over time?

Strong four-way stretch — pulls over 2x crosswise and snaps right back. The spandex is dialed in properly, so recovery is solid. Normal wear, normal washing, won't sag. Use it for suits that get worn several times a week, and months later the snap is still there.

3. Nylon vs polyester swimwear fabric — why pick this one?

Nylon feels softer and smoother against the skin, with a natural sheen that looks sharp in and out of the water. Polyester handles chlorine a bit better over the very long term. If you want a more luxurious hand feel with a bit of glow, go nylon. If maximum chlorine resistance is your top priority, go polyester. Both are solid choices.

4. Does it hold up to chlorine and saltwater?

Yes. Nylon naturally resists chlorine well, and this fabric has been tested for regular pool use. Colors stay true, fabric doesn't turn brittle or thin out. Rinse with fresh water after each use and it'll last even longer. But it's built for the pool, not against it.

5. Is this suitable for bikinis or just one-pieces?

Both. 200gsm is fully opaque, so it works for bikinis without any transparency worries. It's also substantial enough for structured one-pieces and training suits.
